Clean up the Mississippi, and other green activities
Hello you Twin Cities residents!
What are you doing on June 12th? Well, if the answer is "nothing", then sign up to go pick up the good ol' Miss! www.mndnr.gov/adoptriver Sounds like tons of fun to me!
On another hand, John and I went to the Green Living Expo at the MN State Fairgrounds last weekend. There are lots of fairly affordable things that we can do to clean up the environment/reduce our carbon footprint.
A few things that were learning about were:

- Rainbarrels or raingardens
- Composting (just got mine in the mail!)
- Solar panels
- Electric car (check out the Zenn or Clean Ride)
- Biking more - May 14th is Twin Cities Bike or Walk to Work Day
