Fall progress

So, I managed to skip an entire month and a half of blogging... luckily we've been busy and so I have pictures to update you all!

School has started again, and as a result we're trying to finish up as much of our "to get done in 2007" list so that we can hibernate! Today we're getting new windows put in - yea vinyl! We don't need to make funny noises while opening them! Hurray! And hopefully they will help on reducing the draft in the house, and hopefully the heating bills.

After (September 10, 2007):

Okay, so it's hard to appreciate the difference from these pictures - but you can definitely tell up front. As I'm sure you could tell, the house has changed a lot in the last 9 months, almost all as a result of John's hard work. I am now working on finishing up the painting detail on the front porch so that we can strip and stain the floor so that it is no longer an ugly shade of green. :-)

In other changes - I have taken a full time position at Fairview and am no longer rotating! Hurray! As a result of that, I am now considered a core member of the Acute Rehab team, and therefore will permanently be working four 9 hour days with one weekend rotation a month. Not too shabby a deal to get every Monday off.

John is busy running not only his 5th grade classroom, but the patrols, Parent Teacher Organization, and Kiwanis-Kids. He may give up the school play - but maybe not. Such is his life - always over extending.
